Frenchie Herjean
From the start...
Frenchie, was born in south of France with the Passion for horses. She started riding as a teenager in a riding school and spent all of her free time helping, mucking out to earn a ride at the end of the week.
After her first year riding, she took part in her first one day event and got hooked on the sport.
She has always had the ambition of a career in this industry, managing her own yard and competing in eventing successfully.
She comes from a non horsey background, and the journey to realise her ambitions was always going to be a long process... But she had a plan, determination, and she is a natural.
Her aspiration: Eventing.
To the making...
To gain higher riding education and experience, she undertook an apprenticeship where she graduated as an Intermediate Instructor thanks to the accute and rigorous tuition from Les Ecuries de Caderousse. It was her first step as a professional in this industry which opened her the door to Saumur, Ecole Nationale d'Equitation where she got selected for a European program. Taught by great masters, she broadened her technique, gained experience and learnt excellence.
She went around Europe to work as a working pupil for the greatests, Marcus and Joannes Ehning, show-jumpers in Germany, and Bumble Thomas, International event rider, in England. These experiences were Invaluable and made her as a professional rider.
Nowadays...
She is now a professional event rider, BE Accredited Coach, BHS Senior Coach and Senior Rider. She is based in the lovely countryside of Warwickshire. Competing, riding and coaching are her main activities. Her aim is to produce horses to the highest standard, and take them as far as they can, developping their true potential.
